Issue where in 4.7 all is working ok but in ECC6 we have a problem.

We have an issue where in 4.7 all is working ok but in ECC6 we have a problem.

The process is as follows,

1.       Perform a GR using an idoc sent from MES

2.       Use QAC1 transaction to change the qty

In 4.7 we have the following documents created in QA, all is working ok here.

The GR was created using an idoc and MM doc 5000XXXXX1 – this contain a storage type 903 and movement type 903

The QAC1 was created manually and MM doc 5000XXXXX2 – this contain a storage type 901 and movement type 103

The GR was created using MB31 and MM doc 5000760149 – this contain a storage type 901 and movement type 103

The QAC1 was created manually and MM doc 5000760150 – this contain a storage type 901 and movement type 103

In Sandbox ECC6 we have the following documents created.

The GR was created using an idoc and MM doc 5000763908 – this contain a storage type 903 and movement type 903

The QAC1 was created manually and MM doc 5000763909 – this contain a storage type 903 and movement type 103

The GR was created using MB31 and MM doc 5000763902 – this contain a storage type 901 and movement type 103

The QAC1 was created manually and MM doc 5000763903 – this contain a storage type 901 and movement type 103

Summary

On ECC6 the transfer order which is created from the QAC1 transaction is for storage type 903 (only when the GR is created by an idoc)

On 4.7 the transfer order which is created from the QAC1 transaction is for storage type 901 (only when the GR is created by an idoc).

Note : When the GR is performed using an idoc, we use the special movement of 1, on the MB31 we do not.

Any ideas on why this is different in ECC6.0

Hi,

check the customizing settings of WM under:

Interfaces --> Inventory management --> Define movement type

And compare both 4.7 and ECC systems
