sap hcm EHP6 sp upgrade dependency

Hi all,

we are on ECC 6.0 EHP6 Sp4  using with HCM functionality and connected to Portal 7.3  Sp8  and ECC - ECC -EHP6 sp4 systems.

Now we are planning to update the  HCM sytem with SAP  HR and EA HR to latest levels  which requires Netweaver stack also to get upgraded.

Is there any way i can check  does this Stack upgrade is going to impact the Portal  & ECC systems and do i need to update them also?

I check the upgrade dependency analyser and  it was showing as no dependency , i think   dependency analyser cannot check the SP stack dependency...

I have message with SAP on this  which is in waiting from last 7 days.

Please suggest....

Hello,

I don't see there is any dependency between SP stack level and connected system. Since, you are upgrading your HR patches which in turns required to update all prerequisite patches, you just need to take care of HCM Business Packages installed on portal in consideration.

You can also refer to SAP note 1425556.
