SAP IDM 7.2 : Not Able view Delegation Tab under ToDo task

Hi,

  We followed "Creating Role Approval - Implementation Guide" to create approval task. We enabled manual delegation option to implement delegation task but we are not able to see Delegation button under ToDo task. Any idea's to solve this issue ....

Hi Rathnamala,

Which version of IDM you are having and what is your AS JAVA version ?

If you are running AS Java 7.1 or higher, make sure that the check box "Enhanced approval UI" is enabled under the Options- tab on your Identity Center configuration.

If you are running AS Java 7.0, the enhanced approval UI is not supported and you will not get this delegation functionality in the web UI.

Hi ,

Please check SAP Netweaver version you are running . For certain IDM User Admin Activities like Delegation , System should be above certain Stack Level .

Rathnamala,

Please check the access control tab and make sure that you have set up an access control.  At the very least for testing, set it to everyone, or create a sample role for ACL purposes and then assign it to your test user and to the role itself.
