Physical inventory count date does not reflect in Table MARD

Hi Friends,

This is a bit urgent. I am working on Physical inventory for a warehouse scenario. I have counted a bin for a material and the counted quantity matches actual quantity.

I entered the count in Li11n . As there are no differences I was able to clear LI20 at warehouse level.

This results in LINVĀ  records for that quant to be in status 'L' .But when I check in table MARD for last counted date in field DLINL ,I observe that this field is not populated as there has been no record of the inventory at IM level.

I cannot do LI21 as there is on difference to wirte off. (I am using 999 storage type)

Is this correct ? I believe that the system should update the last count date in field DLINL - MARD table .

Has any one experienced this in their system?

Thanks.

regards,

Samir

Dear Samir,

The answer is in your question itself.

1. You have cleared all the inventory at warehouse level with prefect match.

2. There is no IM level transaction

3. As the inventory count is at Bin level, the last counted history will be available in Bin table history

The system is behaving perfectly. Hope this helps.

Rgds,

Vimal P
