Buffer Tuning

Dear Experts,

We have Windows SQL server 2008 R2 Database for SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 5 with Windows Server 2008 R2 server. We have observed many swaps in ST02. the RAM size is 8 GB in production and 4 GB for non production environments. could you anyone please suggest the SAP note for SAP buffer tuning for Windows OS and DB?

I had done basic search in service market place but i could not find anything for both DB and OS are in windows.

With 8 GB of memory I would first check the memory consumption by the SAP system with the present configuration.

Run sappfpar against the instance profile

Check the memory assigned for the database.
