SRM User settings - Department Address - Is Editable in Portal

Dear Experts

In SRM 7.0  ‘’SRM User settings’’ application available with Employee self-service role. (Home --> Personalization --> SRM User settings)

In that we are getting the Department address details.

Please let me know is there any option to edit this Department address in Portal?

When I select the Edit button these department address fields are not editable by default.

I am getting the editable option only for Department Address Details ; such as Building, Floor, Inhouse mail and Communication type but Street, House number, Postal code, City and country are not editable.

Hi,

This is standard behavior. Department is basically the POrg unit to which the user is assigned and Department Address is address of this Org Unit.

Employee can not change his Org assignation from user settings.

Is there any possibilites to achieve the same through customization / configuration changes in the system.
