MRP based on usage decision

Hi,

Is it possible to define a condition in MRP to consider only few grades instead of defining unrestricted / quality stock in availability check?

We have below two requirements, kindly suggest a solution

1. In our scenario we have Grades like A,B,C & D. During MRP run system should exclude grade D. (Pls don't suggest, move the stock to another storage location and exclude storage location from MRP)

2. Another requirement is in C grade it has to consider 80% of total C grade stock. Example: C grade chemical stock is 100 liter (we need to define in the system to consider 80% for C grade). During MRP run system has to generate requirement for 20 liter.

Thanks

Pook

Nope.  MRP will not consider 'grades'.  It does not take anything at the batch level into consideration.

For item 2, you might consider setting up safety stock.  But again, it only works on material level, not batch level.
