How to trigger MII workflow from ME ( Tool Status Change )

Dear Experts,

I'm facing issue with triggering MII workflow from SAP ME.

Here is the scenario :

If I change ToolNumber status to "Unschedule_Down" or "Production" in SAP ME, it will trigger a workflow in MII.

However, if I change the ToolNumber status to "Enable" or "Disable" in SAP ME, the workflow is not triggered in MII.

Could you please give me guidance how to achieve this functionality ?

Hi Ani,

Please check the Collaboration Link settings for PM.

It should be like

Link: ERP Equipment Status Change

Trigger Action: COLLABORATION_EQUIPMENT_STATUS_CHANGE

Directive: ERP_EQUIPMENT_STATUS_CHANGE

Then check once the Collaboration Directive setting.

Hello Ani,

I assume you are talking about MEINT workflow.

The MEINT workflow for EquipmentStatusChange is triggered only for certain status/transitions (e.g., for Production to Unschedule_Down) that are relevant for PM.

I think you need a SDK extension to accomplish that. That would be a collaboration plugin, or a service extension in case of ME 6.1.
