SPM content changes collection in a transport is not working

Hi All,

I am working on SPM 3.0 SP02  implementation. We have a problem while collecting he SPM Content change into a transport to move the SPM portal changes from Dev system to Quality system.

Steps:

1. Run transaction 'SE38' to execute program '/POA/R_PST_TRS_CUST_CTN'.

2. Partition Namespace: Change from /POA to /SPM

3. Partition Sub Namespace: Leave Blank

4. Select the objects you want to transfer, objects will be

highlighted in yellow.

5 .Click on the objects that you want to transport and then choose "SELECT CHANGED" and then "EXPORT SELECTED"

6. Check the transport request if objects gets attached to it.

I have followed above steps to capture changes in a transport but unfortunately transport doesn't have any objects (blank transport).

Please suggest me if you face this problem. Appreciate your help...

Hi prasanna,

can you check with the basis if the system is open for EDIT. If not then it will not allow transports.

In the mean time sap is looking into fixing the issue.

Hi Bidisha,

Our system is open. It seems Ekta has issues to loginto our systems.

Please do update me as soon as possible find the solution for this problem.

Hi All,

We have solved this problem with the help of SAP. We have collected the SPM report content objects (UUID's) into a customization transport.

Goto SE38 -> /POA/R_PST_TRS_CUST_CTN ,-> Execute -> Change to /SPM from /POA -> execute

Double click on each object then get the UUID from right side.

Program ID - R3TR

Object Type - PRES/DRES

PRES is for Content Type:   /POA/SCNT

DRES is for Content Type:   /POA/DCNT

BW - SCC4 settings for client should be enabled with "Automatic recording of changes" which will allow you to capture the SPM portal changes into a customizing transport request using the program - /POA/R_PST_TRS_CUST_CTN
