User creation for Incident Management

Dear all,

Is it possible to create to users, assign them to a single system - i.e. SAP ERP installation 1234, have them create messages, and then have them see every message for that particular SAP ERP? We are trying this, but each user is only able to see its own message on our solman. We had one person that checked it, and she said it is not possible, it is not an available feature .

Hi,

if you are using the work centers you can use tcode POWL_QUERY to pre-define queries you assign to specific users via POWL_QUERYU. In addition, you can restrict some authorizations. So the users can only work with the preset you have assigned to them. We have created a similar szenario for partners working in our service desk.

Hi Muaricio,

You can assign users to Installation ID and then use this for partner determination but not vise versa.

but you can try this:

If ERP users will send incidents directly from ERP system then, you will have incidents for this system.

Then just search by instalation number 1234.

Can you please say what version of Solman you are using 7.1 SP? and you using Workcenters? what about tcode SM_CRM WEB UI.
