How to export system landscape definitions in SAP NW 7.31

Hi,

We were using SAP NW 7.02 portals earlier and were able to take the export of system landscape definitions under the navigation

System administration --> Transport --> XML Content and Actions --> Export

We used to import that xml file after the refresh is completed.

After we upgraded to SAP NW 7.31 portals, there is no option to export system landscape definitions under the navigation

System administration --> Transport --> XML Content and Actions

We see only import option.

Can you please let us know where we can see that option or how to backup the system landscape definitions in SAP NW 7.31

Hi Sudheer - As per the documentation i think it is no longer supported by SAP.

i see that -

The Export to XML functionality of the XML Content and Actions tool is

no longer recommended for use.

Hi,

Try to first create a transport package.

Once transport package is created try to select that and add it to the transport package and then export it.

You will get an ear file and you can try to import that file.
