Normal Change - Project Cycle Phase Test

Hi,

I am using Normal Change in ChaRM 7.1

When I chnage the Project/Maintenance cyce phase from 'In Development with Release' to 'Test' phase, system checks whether all Normal Changes are in 'Successfully Tested ' status or not.

I want to chnage this system check to my Z status.

I want to know where exactky we maintain this condition for the action 'Switch Phase to Test' ?

Hi PK,

System will not check any status while the phase change from "Development with Release' to 'Test' phase in MC.

MC Phase for ChaRM:

1. Development with Release - Allow to create the TR's in Dev and release to QAS.

2. Test - Not allow to Release the TR's from Dev to QAS. it is testing phase. if any defect use defect change(SMTM) for creating TR's and release in "Test" phase  or reset to "Development with Release" phase and create the TR's and release the TR's in the same normal change document.

3. Golive -  Not allow to Release the TR's from Dev to QAS,  not allow to generate Normal changes,not allow to import thr TR's in QAS, not allow to assign the project in Rfc. Allow only to import the TR's in PRD system.

Hi PK,

Its very easy find SPRO Make Settings for Change Transaction Types

Here choose SMMN / SMDV , next Specify Status Attributes choose E0005 - TEST

Next choose Specify Required Status Values for Successor

Here you need ad your Z - transaction

Hi Dan,

Thanks. I have already done this setup but still it gives below message

'Lower -Level change procedures to be checked.

Normal change 8000000256 cannot be checked for status 'E0024' ( i.e. Z status)'

Seems there is something else in config that need to be changed.
