SOLMAN_SETUP - TechMonitoring - Content Import Time Out

Hi experts,

I am in solman_setup->Technical Monitoring->Step 2.7 (Update Content).

However, if I click on "Import Content" I always get a "500 connection time out".

What can I do or which parameter can I change to avoid this?

Hi Chris,

If icm/conn_timeout is exceeded, the result therefore is not the error message "500 Connection timed out  .

So increase the parameter value in RZ10.

Also check the note -   1582842  - Profile parameters for SAP Solution Manager 7.1

this parameter did not solve the problem.

But I've found a guide on SCN.


This steps are correct:

Thank you very much again for your great help

1. Run TCode SMICM,

2. Click on button 'Services' (Next to refresh button ).

3. Select HTTP line

4. Click Service->Change (Service option in the main menu)

5. Set next values : Keep Alive 600; Max.Process. Time 600

6. Run your WebClient (it might be that you will not get from the first try but just try few times, it is always very slow on the first run so it can get overtime)
