Solman_Setup - BI Infocube 0SMD_PEH/0SMD_PED inactive

Hi experts,

in solman_setup->Technical Monitoring->Step 2.1 I get the error message, that the Infocubes 0SMD_PED and 0SMD_PEH are inactive.

How can I activate them via RSA1?

Thx in advance for a quick-guide.

Hi Karthik,

thx for help.

I did finish them successful.

At least I thought this, because the amps were green.

Also the amps from the BW-Activation.

Now I did reschedule the ccms_bi_setup job and did look into the log.

There I can find a lot of errors like the following.

Do you know how to solve them?
Because I can't find anything on the internet and also not on SMP.

May be issue with datasources. please check and replicate the 3.x. data source.

I've found this thread.

But in RSDS I can't find entries which I can delete.

So I don't know how to replicate the 3.x data source.

Hi Chris,

Please try the below option

Goto RSA1 -> it show metadata screen? ( in BI client )

if show     * select replicate as well

                 * next screen select last option (this and following 8 and 3X data source

                 * take some time to activate

                * Goto RSTCO_ADMIN and activate the job

                * check  the BI_TCO_ACTIVATION in SM37 and after complete.

                *check the status  in RSTCO_ADMIN

Already data replication is done.

Please check the below step.

*Check the status  in RSTCO_ADMIN , status is green?

* Goto "Basic Configuration" -> step 5 "Configure Automatically"- > "Setup BW" status show ant error ?

If show erorr, re-execute it  and check the log again.

Hi Christian,

1. First check whether FSTCLNT008 is assigned to the correct logical system name in BD54.

2. Then Check the whether the RFC FSTCLNT008 is working fine or not.

3. then in RSA1 -> source systems->Right click the entry FSTCLNT008-> restore

4. Then follow the steps given by karthik.

Hi All,

This was a very useful thread, but I have been struggling with this one too and had to log a call with SAP.  They pointed me to http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1881171 as SAP had introduced a bug with the SP and it's being fixed in the next SP for SolMan.

You may also see lots of dumps when you try and fix the issue with RSA1 like this:

Activation of an InfoCube or a DSO fails with SQL error SQL0104N "An unexpected

token "COLUMN" was found following ...".

I wanted to share this solution in case someone else is stuck at the same point.

Guys, Thank you very much again for great help!

I had to restore the data-source and then it did work.

Currently the job is running and I have a lot of lines in the log that data sources are created successful.

So it looks very good.

RFC was really not ok. However, it did not solve the problem.

Same errors in CCMS_BI_SETUP.

When I check RSTCO_ADMIN it is red.

I've activated again and I get a lot of errors in the log:

-Internal Activation

-- Data Source 80RSPL_AGS does not exist in Sytem FSTCLNT008 in Version A.

Hi Chris,

Try the below option,

Goto RSA1 in BI client and replicate the data source using last option as shown below

                 *Goto RSTCO_ADMIN and activate the job

                * check  the BI_TCO_ACTIVATION in SM37 and after complete.

                *check the status  in RSTCO_ADMIN

I'am working on this. Just for your information, when I click on Replicate Datasource, I don't get this popup. It starts directly.

We have solman 7.1 and I use the internal BW of solman in same client.

• Check in SM37 that job CCMS_BI_SETUP has run without error
• it will activate the info cubes.

Before start any configuration , please make sure to complete System preparation, Basic configuration and managed system setup in the solman_setup.
