Could you please explain how to perform self join using view in IS 4.1.

Hi Surebha,
I don't know what your source database is, but there are several options:
- create two connections to your source database and create a view on the table from connection 1 and the same table from connnection 2
- create two views on the same table in the source database, import both views in IS and join them there
- create a view with a self join in the source database and import that view.

I don't think there is a self join option. Are you talking about the left outer join?
Combines all records from the table listed to the left of the join with matched values from the right table.
This can be found in the user guide on page 45.
