Variants for ALV

Hi All,

I am looking for Variants for ALV, for this I right click on the ALV. i choose option as User Settings. Within this under Column Selection I removed few columns just for testing, and click SAVE & Close.

Now i want to bring back to hide columns, so i again did same thing, i added the removed columns. but when i click on SAVE & Close it is giving me dump as assert condition violated.

can any one help to bring columns back.

Hi Prathamesh,

You need to reset your personalization settings done.

Steps:

1. Right click mouse buttons beside the alv table as below and click on "more"

1. Click on "Reset User settings for running application" as below

Hi Rama,

I tried this one also, but same result.

when i clicked on Reset user settings for Running Application, it resulted into dump.

"500 SAP Internal Server Error"

Error : The ASSERT condition was violated. (termination : RABAX_STATE)

Hi Prathamesh,

You can reset the personalization for the user by using standard WD component.

Please try the below steps..

Steps:

1. Open WD component WD_ANALYZE_CONFIG_USER
2. Run the WD application WD_ANALYZE_CONFIG_USER, it displays the user personalization settings
3. Select the lines related to your user and press DELETE button

Please refer the below snaps

This removes the personalization of all alv settings.
