Hi Experts, 

I am getting following error while connecting archive server with OAC0

Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

Message no. CMS166

We are using NW 7.3 with ECC 6 / EHP6

Please help me resolving the issue

Hi,

First of all i would check two things.

One id the server details and port of the OPENTEXT are resolved from the sap server .

Second thing the http script doesn't looks to be correct.

Hi,

Please check /etc/services file and port xxxx has been allocated to another service which is unnecessary for you. If so comment it out those lines and it will work fine.

hi Zahir,

check following link because same issue is mentioned

ICM http Connection Failed

Please also check the host file entries and allow the port(80) from Firewall.

Hi Abu,

Use 1090  port number  in OAC0  for content server and test it . check all possible URL test for content server and let me know.

Hi Abu,

Please check and create the following

1) Archive repository with name V7 exists on Archive server

2) R3 connection established for ECC system from the archive server.
