sap mii integration with BO ?

Hi,

We have MII  14.0 and I want to use the BLS transaction in BO which are built in MII .

To integrate with MII with BO I have followed the below link.

As per above link we have downloaded  connector and installed in BO. but while configuring connector on Datamanager  ,

I am not what should I enter against the below parameters.

Admin wsdl Path :

catalog wsdl Path:

Please help me to enter proper value against the above fields.

Hello Pooja,

   The Admin/Catalog WSDLs are just representation of the webservices which the connector would use. These values are present in the connector by default. You do not need to change the URL . It would work as is.

However, if you wish to check if the URL is correct, then go to

Netweaver Administrator --> SOA --> Application and Scenario Management (Tab) --> Single Service Administration

Search for WS for Admin (refer attachment) and PlantInformationMaintenance for Catalog Service. Copy the wsdl url without mode=ws-policy and paste it in the field.

Thanks for your answers.

I downloaded the conector and after extract I got the xls file instead of xlf as shown in docment.And I configured with the xlz file but getting status as failed.

I have given the parameters like

port :http

Matchin Name: xyz

port: xyz

admin wsdl path:  default comes with connector

catalog wsdl path:default comes with connector

user name : xyz

Password:xyz

and clicked on test connection button. But I am getting status as failed.

can you pls suggest me where did I wrong.

Hi Pooja,

  Couple of things you may need to check.

1. Try giving the full qualified name of the system . Like Machine.abc.xyz.corp or the IP number.

2. Make sure the port number  and credentials are correct.

Is it a HTTPS system? if yes, the I would suggest you look at [page 16 of the the guide you are following,

if none of these works, try swithching the radio button to https and then back to http. I have noticed that flash at times fails to recogonixe the selected radio button.

Hi Pooja,

The URL for the web service are given in the document screen shot on page 5.

which are as follows:

/XMIIWS/WSBean?wsdl

/PlantInformationCatalogService/PlantInformationCatalogServiceBean?wsdl

These are the wsdl URL for the MII's Admin and Catalog web service respectively.

Should I enter as they shown in that doc like

Admin wsdl Path :  /XMIIWS/WSBean?wsdl

catalog wsdl Path:   /PlantInformationCatalogService/PlantInformationCatalogServiceBean?wsdl

Or do I make any changes to wsdl's  pls let me know.

This would work as you would have already given the protocol, server and port already in the above input fields.
