Actual GI date for Delivery should always be system date

Former Member

Dear All,

We have a requirement in which the Actual Goods issue date for the delivery should be same as the System date. If user changes the date before doing PGI, system should replace the date with the current date. Is it possible to achieve this requirement by Config.? Or any user exit/Enhancement is required. Valuable Inputs would be appreciated on the same,

Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards

Kavita.

Try with any of the following Delivery exits

  • USEREXIT_READ_DOCUMENT in program MV50AFZ1
  • USEREXIT_SAVE_DOC_BEFORE_PREP in program MV50AFZ1

Hi Kavita,

As suggested by Vemuri,

Please update below code in User Exit MV50AFZ1 Form USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_LIKP.

LIKP-WADAT_IST = Current Date

Just a concern, If you will restrict Actual Goods Issue Date always as Current Date and will not allow Back Date or Future date and due to any reason some error occurred where you need to do Goods Issue in back date is it fine?

I will suggest you to check with Business again what they do if above situation occurs and how you will manage it in SAP?

MJ.

Hi,

you have to enhance it using   MV50AFZ1

Hi Friend,

If you want that all the date should be same as per the system. then do one thing remove the Lead time field from Sales Document type and also kept the Working time in the shipping point blank. and then try it it will work.

And i think if you are making a sales order for that sales order the delivery date will be the current date most of the time. Then also try above solution and confirm.

Hope this will help you.

Dear Kundan,

Here the Issue is not as suggested-

He never asked how system determines Actual GI date..

He asks-- if user changes the Actual GI date to some thing else--But system has to replace that with current date.

I sincerely request you not to change the font/Style of letters.( The difference has to be there in our replies and not in letter formatting...)

Request you to adhere to Forum Rules...
