Running PI WSDL From Oracle DB

Hi,

We have a vendor who is attempting to consume a PI WSDL from within an Oracle DB. In doing so he is getting the following returned:

1. com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.impl.exception.CPALookupException: Couldn't retrieve binding for the given channelId: Binding:CID=null;

There is nothing visible in either Runtime Workbench or SXI_Monitor.

I am able to successfully run the same WSDL via SoapUI (a free soap client).

I have refreshed the CPA cache (as per Google) but this made no difference.

Any ideas?

Hi Paul,

Ask the vendor to check his connection URL. "Couldn't retrieve binding" normally appears when the URL is incorrect. By the way, how did you generate the WSDL? Was it from the Sender Agreement? Otherwise, the URL in the WSDL might already be incorrect.

Can you try opening the end point url given in the WSDL on a browser? From the looks of it, it seems that the end point URL format is not correct.
