PI BC Sender User and Roles question

Hi!

We have a scenario where we want to receive data via a BC Sender Adapter. What roles are necessary for a remote user to log on via BC? Is it enough to create a user in the ABAP stack of the PI or does this user have to exist on the Java side?

Hi Elmar,

The PI user that SAP BC uses to send messages should have role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER assigned. See more here:
