Hi ALL,

We are Installing new Solution manager 7.1 SPS8 on RHE Linux in the System prepertion step 5.1(Select SLD)  no diagnostic agents are registered in SLD and also step 5.6 (Connect Diagnostics agent to solution manager) when we click on get agents we are not getting any agents

We have used below commands to register the Diagnostic agent.

smdsetup.sh sldconf hostname:"sapms://<hostname>.com" port:50000 user:"j2ee_admin" pwd:"******"

smdsetup.sh managingconf hostname:"sapms://<hostname>.com" port:"8101 user:"SMD_ADMIN" pwd:"*****"

In the step 4.4 (Set Authentication Policy for agents) one Authenicated diagnostic agent is registed.

Please help  in resolving the issue.

Thanks

Lalitha

Hi Karthik,

Could you tell me how to check agent directly in SLD (http://<host name>:50000/sld) till now I am checking only in SOLMAN_Setup transaction.

Hi Karthik,

I have entered wrong command for registring diagnostic agent in SLD

smdsetup.sh sldconf hostname:"sapms://<hostname>.com" port:50000 user:"j2ee_admin" pwd:"******"

The Correct command is

smdsetup.sh sldconf hostname:"<hostname>.com" port:50000 user:"SLDDSUSER" pwd:"******"

Regards,

Lalitha
