Wrong storage location for component in Process Order

Hi All,

Process order is reading wrong storage location for component.

Details for component:

• Material Master (MRP 2) maintained for "Prod Storage location 1000" and "EP storage location" 2000.

• BOM have no settings for any storage location for that component.

• MRP Control Parameters (OMD1) : Selection is blank i.e.The system only checks for components whose issue storage location is defined in the material master record and copies it from there.)

• MRP Group Storage location determination: Its blank i.e. same above.

• Define Storage Location and Supply Area Determination in BOM Explosion : Its blank, i.e. system should consider storage location maintained in material master.

Inspite of all above check, system always copies SL 2000 instead of 1000. All other similar (external procured) kind of materials are woring good.

Can anybody please suggest where the crux could.

Hello Deepak,

Is the material assigned to Storage Loc. 1000. Pls check MMSC also.
