Hello,
I need to know one thing... I would know if it´s possible to make a system copy (heterogeneous system copy) in a SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 (Windows Server 2012 and MS SQL Server 2012). I want to do a copy of this SAP system to a new server with Windows Server 2012 and Oracle database 11.2).
I searched for information in installation guides area (http://service.sap.com/erp-ehp7-inst) but I didn´t found anything related with the subject... system copy procedure/guides.
Can you help me please?
Thank you,
samid raif

Hi Samid,
As you are changing databases, this process is a Migration. If there is a Production system in the landscape that you wish to migrate, the you will need to use a certified migration consultant to assist you.
You will need to use an export/import method to migrate this, and the exact process will depend upon your archtitecture, db size (you might need to split large tables), timeframe, etc. Take a look at the system copy guides as a start though.

Graham
