Support package upgrade issue in production environment

Hi SAP,

During our SAP NetWeaver 7.3 post installation we struck at support package upgrade in production environment.

when we upgrade SP's in development environment we face same issue that time we applied these SAP Notes and resolved the issue

0001614802 Mass activation hangs during INSERT in the table DDFTX

0001672480 Runtime error COMPUTE_INT_PLUS_OVERFLOW in RADIXCHK

0001678047 COMPUTE_INT_PLUS_OVERFLOW during activation

0001680583 Field names for tables and views with more than 16 char.

0001824688 Variable or structure member texts are not displayed

0001853036 Error SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC in phase CHECK_INACT_OBJECT

But in Production environment we import all these notes still we facing the issue

and one more thing is i could not understand at process overview of background job status is On Hold reason is RFC

 

Can any one help me where could i miss the steps

Click in the import button again and check the logs at the OS level.

Hi,

Can you please check any background job is running for which the RFC is waiting to get the status.

Please also check if you see any thing in sm21 and log in /usr/sap/trans/tmp.

Try to see if you can activate the trace and see what is the program waiting for.

OSS 1653343 - SP Equivalence for update/upgrade to SAP EHP 1 for NW 7.30

Your issue you need to apply note : 1672480 manually since system is locked by SPAM.

Also check that you have latest kernel patch installed because some time we noticed that because of old kernel.
