Plants abroad-Asian scenario

Does plants abroad functionality can be brought among Asian countries.Else if we have plant in Indonesia and India both should be treated as different company code.Kindly explain.

Plants abroad functionality is generally useful in European countries for Tax requirements

i dont see any impact of activating it for Asian Countries, but once you activate it in Asian countries, it will be activated for all countries in ASIA, so you have to careful enough to handle this
