Visual Administrator on NW 7.3

Hi, I would like to apply this correction

To increase the maximum number of opened connections and/or the time to wait for a new connection you should change the DataSource properties in the Visual Administrator or manually modify of the data-sources.xml file.

  • The necessary steps in the Visual Administrators are as follows:
  1. Open the Visual Administrator and select Server 0 Services  JDBC Connector.
  2. Select the appropriate DataSource within the Runtimetab on the right.
  3. Select the tab named Additional.
  4. Set the desired values for the fields Maximum Connectionsand/or Maximum Time to Wait for Connection.
  5. After your modification select Save. The Visual Administrator will prompt you for application redeployment. After confirming that, you should be able to get the connection from the database.

From this URL: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/5c/2f2c4142aef623e10000000a155106/frameset.htm

But my NW system is 7.3 and visual administrator is not available for this version

How can I do this correction?

thanks in advance

Hi Juan,

Please try this

Launch the net weaver administrator (NWA) using http://localhost:50000/nwa

Select Configuration Management->Infrastructure->Application Resources

Select JDBC Drivers from Show filed, click on JDBC DataSource Details, Click on connection Pooling tab,

Also, you can check this url  http://scn.sap.com/people/ayyapparaj.kv/blog/2008/11/21/creating-jdbc-data-sources-using-nwa-for-dif...

Please rewards points if this issue is resolved.

Thanks.

Hi,

Visual admin has been replace by NWA so you need to follow the above blog to change it.

Thanks
