SAP Application Hardware Migration

Dear All,

we are planning for Hardware migration and database splitting

Existing Environment Details

SAP Version: SAP Application ECC 6.0

Database:      Oracle 11.2.0.2.0

OS:               Red Hat Linux 5.4

Note: we have installed Development and Quality Systems are on one Database, Database SID s are same where as application SID s are different

now we are planning  to split the database and migrating to new Hardware.

can we split the database?

can we transfer specific application data to another database instance( Newly installed)?
