charm in solman 7.1 SP8 - misleading information

Hi experts,

  Anybody has found the latest  guide for solman 7.1 charm upgrade  in service market place ?

  the latest released version is  V1.1 released in Jan 2012( from solman 7.1 sp03) onwards .

  I use SP08 and the SPRO navigation links are different from the guide.

  I posted my queries in http://scn.sap.com/message/14487321 but i could not get helpful answers.

  The most important thing i noticed is the partner determination procedure,for which the guide says to configure in

   Solution manager ->Capabilities (Optional) -> Change Control Management -> Transaction Types -> Define Partner Determination   Procedure

   but actually in my case this is determined from

   Solution manager ->Capabilities (Optional) -> IT Service Management -> Partner Dertmination Procedure -> Specify Partner function display

   which is not mentioned in the guide.

  Anybody has similar experience in solman 7.1 SP8 ?

  Also please share if you have the proper documents for SP8.

Hi,

Since this guide was released, there is no other guide created. All the updated information is now being included in the IMG Activities (SPRO) and in the Help OnLine, according to the ChaRM team. You also have the SOLMAN_SETUP to use as a guide for your ChaRM set up. The last pdf guide released was the one you have.
