SAP ALL profile except BASIS

Hi all,

I need to found a standard SAP ALL profile who has all autorithations except the basis (workbench, etc).

Anyone knows the name for assing it?

you can assing roles to the users

SAP_ALL_DISPLAY Display authorizations for all modules (except BC, CA, HR)

SAP_ALL_RESTRICTED All SAP_ALL authorizations (except BC, CA, HR)

i am looking for it at /pfcg but i can't find anyone.

sapall* has no matches.

i am doing something wrong? how can i found or assing it?

go to SU01 --> user_name --> click on roles --> add the roles which you want. Even you can get the list of available roles.

What release are you working at ? I mean the release as well as SAP_BASIS version.

RELEASE = 6.20

SAP BASIS = 4.7

Just what I had thought. this role is not in releases => 4.7.

By the way your release is 4.7 and SAP_BASIS is 6.20.

Hi Fredrico,

Check if the profile Z_ANWEND helps your cause. .

Z_ANWEND: All user authorizations (excluding BC system). You can directly assign the profile to the users.

If you want to go for role option then create a role. The under authorization tab select EXpert mode for profile generation. Then from menu bar choose

Edit->Insert Authorization->From profile.

The generate the profile of this role and assign it to users.

and give the profile Z_ANWEND. Then generate the profile for this role and assign it to the users. Personally I would prefer the role option.

Hi Federico,

The role SAP_ALL_RESTRICTED is your best bet. This is a role not a profile like SAP_ALL.

It doesnot give any basis authorizations as well as gives highly restricted access to ABAP objects.
