Backup set will expire =0 days

Hi,

Background:-

          I want apply backup of System A  to System B after 8 days.

          After taking backup, I realized that `Backup set will expire` was set to 0 days.

Question:
With `backup set will expire` is set to 0 days, can I apply backup taken from System A to System B after 8 days?

Hello,

You can use this backup for restore. Expiration period is set to protect the backup from overwriting in tape/disk.

If you set a expiration period of 0 days, this means that the volume is not locked. The volumes can be overwritten on the same day.
