Dear experts,
We are currently facing the challenge that our SAP sales organizations need to update the ship-to party within already scheduled orders – order was already confirmed to the customer accordingly.
This update is done by replacing the ship-to party number within the sales order header, i.e. no overwriting the address within the sales document.
Due to this update the system does a new availability check and the particular sales order could lose its place within the reservations. What could cause a different delivery data than the one already confirmed to the customer.
We are wondering if anybody has faced this issue as well? And if there is a solution available to “freeze” the scheduling when updating the ship-to party? Maybe a user exist that we could use?
I am looking forward to receiving your feedback.
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards
Steffen
