Spool is in status completed but no print out

Former Member

Hi,

A batch job is used to automatically send a list of DNs to be printed. However, some DNs are not printed out although spool has the status complete. Could this be due to network package lost? Does anyone know why?

Thanks.

Debbie,

I would suggest you check how your output device is configured,

because it may be setup to print on external host, and if checkbox "Do not query host spooler for output status" is selected -> the spool in SAP is marked as complete as soon as it's passed to external host spooler.

NOTE: if you deactivate this checkbox you may experience significant perfrmance issues with printing (one non-working printer may impact all other spool processes).
