Hi all,
As i faced a problem, where i got lots of shortdumps. When i analysed the dumps i concluded that it was due to memory space and did the necessary things and also the issue was solved. But my question is as i saw the dumps , all the dumps are due to the user "BW_USER".As i analysed the sm51 when i was getting errors, all my dialog process were used by above user.As that time there was no BW_user present. So please suggest what would be the reason for getting the dumps of the particular user.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Amit

Please find the error analysis of the dump.I think this would help to analyse the dump.
Waiting for the valuable suggestion.

Hi Markus,
Thanks for your immediate response.I had checked the ora error and also about the description given which says about the table space.Actually issue was resolved when i increase the tablespace size but im actually intrested in knowing why the dumps are generated on particular user(BW_USER).
When the users job or user was not available at that time.
Please suggest the needuful.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Amit
You need to increase the tablespace in order to reserve more space.
BW works asynchronously, the BI system will call into R/3 depending on the process chain defined there and download delta data. That job is triggered through the BI system and not through the scheduler on your R/3 system.

Hi Markus,
Thanks for the immediate response. As i checked with the BW person who does the process chain activity. As per our conversation the process chain activity was effected not bcoz of the issue i had mentioned as the timings were different. So i think its clear that the issue what i had is not bcoz of that.Waiting for your valuable suggestion.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Amit
