To rephrase your query, for the Production Order, you may issue different Raw materials & Semi Finished goods. You want to know the Inspection lot by which those Raw materials & Semi Finished goods have been cleared.

As single production order may consume bulk of Raw materials & others, those materials can be from different inspection lot. If you want to track, you may to use concept of batch functionality by which inspection lot will be generated. While making goods issue, you can track the batches from where you consume the materials.

Using that, you can have Inspection lot indirectly.

Hi Maheswaran,

Thanks for your quick response,

1)  As per the first requirement the Batch. Code/Date code required in T. Code : ZBATCH, So as per that I developed based on Job Order number as shown in the below screen-shot.

The above Screen-shot based on Job order we can get the Batch. Code/Date code in the report as shown in the below screen-shot, the Batch/date code will pick from UD Long text.

2)      Now client wants the component wise Manf.Date.Code for this Job Order , for  component wise Date code maintained in UD long text, we are having  3 inspection lots and each inspection lot Batch code is different. So which Batch code we have to display in the report? And how can we know which inspection lot they used for the job order?

In the above screen shot we can see three different inspection lot for the same material 1011080292 and different Date Code/ Batch Code, so which has to be display? we don't know which lot has been consumed.

Thanks

It's not possible to say that only one batch should be consumed per order. There can be multiple batches so that there will be multiple inspection lots.

Check with business with this scenario,

Hi Satheesh,

Additionally, you can use inspection type 02 for GI batches. This way you would be able to track the inspection lots for GI batches as soon as the 261 movement is made.
