Solved: SAP BO BI or SAP HANA?

HI SAP Techies...

Hi this is wasim.i m an MCA passout having 2.5 years experience in Java and web development.

i m a new bee in SAP.i just want to switch to SAP technologies for better career growth.i m interested to learn sap techo functional module which is not hardcore technical.

so my questions are this..

1. which SAP module suites me SAP BO BI or SAP Hana?

2. what are the pre requisites for SAP BO BI and as well as SAP HANA?

3. is SAP BO and SAP BI module same?

4. difference between SAP BO with HANA and SAP BI with HANA?

2. what are the pre requisites for SAP BO BI and as well as SAP HANA? you need to have SQL knowledge for Sap HANA and For BI you need to have technical knowldege and functional knowledge related to SAP modules depending on business (SD,MM,FI,CO,HR) .

3. is SAP BO and SAP BI module same?: Both are Different , But procedure is same , BO has more no of reporting options compared to BI.

4. difference between SAP BO with HANA and SAP BI with HANA?: Depends on business requirement , we can choose BO with HANA / BI with HANA.

Hana Scenarios :

As far as suggestion to you is first learn ABAP as you have already programming knowledge experience , later change into BI and then BO/HANA.

1. what are the pre requisites for learn SAP ABAP+BI? :

First you need to have programing knowledge in ABAP , coming to BI : you need to have technical knowledge related to BI (we have 3 parts Modelling, Extraction Reporting).

In those 3 parts we will use 40% abap coding , depending on business requirements this will change ,

we have some pre defined content in BI related to R/3 System , we can use in BI some standard content related to modelling :IOBJS,DSO's Infocubes etc.

Extraction : Data Sources.

Reporting : Standard Reports.

If Business requirement doesn't satisfies above standard content then total customization will be done using abap code only.

2.is ABAP hardcore programming?

NO, Depends on your interest the way you learn ABAP.

For simple way to learn abap search in sap scn forums you will get good documents related to ABAP with examples.

3.is there job opening in market for abap+bi consultant as a fresher?

Yes , Lots of openings are there.

SAP ABAP + BI or HANA development and implementation.

2. what are the pre requisites for SAP BO BI and as well as SAP HANA?

HANA is purely related to Database things so you must have some sound knowledge on DB for HANA. And For BI, some basic of SAP, Table related to BI, some Tcodes, relations with other module.

3. is SAP BO and SAP BI module same?

NO!

4. difference between SAP BO with HANA and SAP BI with HANA?

You must have some knowledge of ABAP and BI both.

Yes ABAP is fully programing. But BI and other techno-function module have some part of programing, not fully programing.
