Hi ,

You can find lot many documents regarding workbook on SCN.

Workbook is collection of reports in one excel depending on business requirement.

Following link tells you steps to create workbook.

HI,

If I got 2 workbooks, A and B, can I create a link between workbook A and B? Or do I need to input a new Query?

Hi,

I got first workbook "A", which all the data insides.

I got another workbook "B", which is some of the data needed from "A".

Can I do it like Excel to create link so that the number from workbook "A" can link to workbook "B".

In summary, everytime I change workbook "A", workbook "B" will change automatically.

Hi

I don't think you can insert one workbook into another but you said that you are having common queries used in both the workbook.So you can change query that will automatically reflect in both workbook.

Hi,

The purpose of "link" the workbook because I plan to have a "master data" in one workbook.

The I will have all subsequence workbooks all link back to the master data.

I think I will find another way instead of using workbook as my reporting purposes.
