Hi Jaheer,

Class Level:- User level. The security profiles which we provide while creating a user(Secuirty tab). Then the new user will have class level rights.

Object Level:- At Document level. The role which we give to the collaborators while creating documents like Project, RFx, Auctions etc., then that particular collaborator will have object level rights

Hi Jaheer,

Just to elaborate, Object level profiles are generic role or enterprise wide profiles. Simply stated an object level profile (eg: Document Collaborator) will affect all the Business Documents and other data in the system. To explain with an example a user with Security Profile as Document Collaborator will have edit access to all the documents to which it is added as a Collaborator.

Class level profiles are specific to a particular type of document (eg: Contract Manager). A user with profile Contract Manager will only have access to Documents of type Contract.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks,

Arijeet
