Run time erro 5216, there is printer error while document printing thru SAP

Hi Guru's,

Our client creates inspection protocols  & saves the word file of protocol in transaction CV01N. The document is then checked in. In CV02N status of the document is changed & the last status of document is released after which it is printed via customized transaction. The word file of document contains Macros for lot no., batch no., document no., version. The values of macros get printed while printing document in customized transaction.

While initial printing of document, the document is printed properly. But when the user goes for reprinting of document he is getting error " Run time error 5216, There is a printer error" & the document is not printed.

Whether this is a SAP error or microsoft office error & how to resolve it.
