Those are the settings, its need to stop when we set off settings.. but today morning some maintenance gone on SCN which caused to receive spam mails as you showned. IT team is working on it. after some time spam mails will stop.
Am also receiving spam mails.
Pls check the belowo one.

There was some downtime earlier today. Unfortunately, when the site comes back online some members receive multiple copies if the same e-mail. It will stop very soon.
This had been reported and explained on other SCN Support discussion threads previously.

Dear Ananthula,
you want to re-activate or de-activate the email notifications for a specific workspace, you can do this yourself by going to the main portal of the workspace in question and clicking the button "Receive email notifications" ("Stop email notifications"), usually located on the right-pane, under "Notifications".
