Stopped Responding in Dataset Creation

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my Personal Version Lumira from a previous 1.0.1 to 1.12. However, when I tried to connect with our HANA database, it stopped responding in the Dataset Creation window (please refer to attachment).

I've tried to reinstall, 2-3 times; but the problem still exists. Did I miss any component in upgrade?

Hi Matt,

please deinstall one more time and delete the following directories:

1) License Key folder: C:\Users\Public\sapvi

2) User Preferences folder: C:\Users\<user>\.sapvi

3) Application folder: C:\Program Files\SAP Lumira

Then reinstall, if you are using HANA you are on the Standard Edition, so you can install from here:

Hi, Clarissa,

Your tip worked for me. Actually, I was facing this window on all 3 laptops and desktop (1 win xp,1 win 7 and 1 win 8.1) yesterday after I either upgraded or installed the Version 1.12. Now the Win 7 is working perfectly; and I will try on the other 2...

Hi Matt,

Windows 8.1 is not supported on releases up to Lumira 1.15.1.
