SRM-MDM disable hierarchy and categories in search-ui is impossible

Hi,

We would like to disable both the hierarchy and categories functionality in SRM-MDM.

But when we try to disable it via the search-ui configurator we get the following error message:

"Hierarchy search field is missing. Enter a table for the hierarchy search."

We are not using Categories (taxonomy table) as we do not want to use a taxonomy table. In addition we are not using Hierarchies as we don't have productgroup hierarchies. Instead we're importing productgroups from SRM.

We therefore need to be able to disable the hierachy search structure as it doesn't add anything and just takes a lot of space and raises a lot of questions but in the search UI config I can't disable it.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Tim even we have the same issue with disabling only the category or the hierarchy field, it looks like we either need to disable them completely, as we cannot have the supplier hierarchy piece stand-alone, did you get any solution for this in standard, or we have to do some webdynpro customization to get rid of the Category functionality and retain only the Supplier Selection list
