Hi Experts,
I need to create a calendar. Actually it has to be quite similar to the Outlook Calendar in which I can organize my appointments using drag&drop.
It should also be possible to have an appointment over several days/timeslots.
In discussion http://scn.sap.com/thread/1953095 Thomas Jung told that they are using a technique in the floorplan manager for screen design. Giving following Screenshot http://www.flickr.com/photos/tjung/5713041356/in/photostream .
This design is exactly what I am looking for. Do you see the block "middlename" within the table, which overlaps more then one cell? This could be an appointment over several timeslots within a calendar represented by the table.
Can anybody give me a tip how I can create such a table given in Thomas' screenshot?
I already asked the same question in the discussion mentioned above, but unfortunately Thomas didn't answer.
Would appreciate any tips...
Maybe Thomas finds some time for me.

Hi Ismail,
The area you mention in Thomas' screen shot looks to me like an embedded Excel spreadsheet (see the OfficeControl UI element). Though it's not exactly what is shown in Thomas' screen shot, an alternative to embedding Excel is UI element TableSingleMarkableCell which could be used to build a calendar-- the example component WDR_TEST_TABLE (view SNGL_MARK_CELL) actually does demonstrate a calendar.
Cheers,
Amy
