Hello,
i want to install gateway instances on database servers and instead of doing the one by one i'd like to use some kind of scripted approach to this.
So is there a way to skip the GUI and proceed to the install directly if all the info is the same(except for SID)

Hello Martin,
I believe what you would like to do is performing several installations, but without running SWPM screens everytime. Please check the SAP note below:
950619 - Installation of SAP Systems with Unattended Mode
This SAP note explains that you basically run the first installation. Then you can use the file generated and use it to perform the other installations as well without using the GUI.

I have yet to try it, but I assume the doco I wrote would work for any version of SAP installer.
As long as you can find the .ini file and change the specific items (SID, DB info, etc) it should supply the information.
