Hello,
We are implememting WM in the existing system. There are many plants in
the landscape. One of the plant is being implemented with WM Module.
We made the changes in item category Relevent for picking for Warehouse.
Picking activation is on Item category.no sales area or plant is
involved. As the warehouse is assigned with plant and storage then
manual picking is not possible i.e. it will be done via TO Creation.
But for other plants the Item category is common & we have to do the
manual picking. which is time taking & cumbersome activity & very
difficuilt to change the practice end user are following for years
together. We have outbound deliveries with many line items.
Request you to kindly advise how do we avoid the manual picking in the
NON WM Plants & picking takes place automatically once batch is
completed.

What I understand is that the any changes done to the picking settings in delivery type/item category would impact only for Warehouse managed Storage Locations.
For IM SLocs there should not be any difference. We generally use same delivery type and item category for IM and WM SLocs.
