i have one problem .in my quality server 3 update workprocess are running very long time . in sm50 screen it shows running in red color how
the function people saving any account screen it giving update is delaying please wait .its taking lot of time after that update is terminated.
pls give me solution
Dear Mahesh,
if a task is running long, you could start /n SE30 and attach to the running task for collecting runtime information.
In this SE30 trace you could see which functionality is taking longest.
You could as well start ST05 trace (for database or RFC or etc.) with filter the user, who has started the long running task.

Check to see if Update is active. In SM50 when you refresh the screen, it should tell you if it is inactive on status bar.
If this is the case you will have to find out why. One reason is tablespace is full and needs extending. There are other reasons, but this one is common.
After wards you can activate updates, by using TCODE sm14 or sm13 > Administration.
