SAP webgui with android tablet:

Dear All,

We are configured webgui and able to logging in sap on our samsung andriod tablet.

whenever we click on transaction bar to type t'code, the keyboard screen is flicking nonstop, due to this we are unable to type any t'code or anything in sap.

please help us to resolve this issue as we are already under UAT and go-live in few days.

Hi Sri,

We have SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and no ehp applied, IE-10 on laptop.

Now apple Ipad has been finalized, either we have to work with safari or foxbrowser (firefox). So, no more work with Andriod.

On apple Ipad using foxbrowser sap working fine. whenever we tried to logon again after some time, the username & password field is disable in foxbrowser and unable to type anything to login again.

Please help to resolve the issue.

Try with Compatibility view, IE should work.

Check http://service.sap.com/pam for compatiblty with your installed browser.

ECC6.0 needs to be at least SAPKB70027 for IE10,and SAPKB70029 for IE11

Have you tried a different browser on the tablet?

Have you tried different tablets?

Also what version of Android are you working with?

A. Both; built-in & 3rd party browsers,

       1. Using Safari latest version.

       2. Using Fx (Foxbrowser) ver: 2.2

2. Have you tried a different browser on the tablet?

A. Yes, we tried with IE10, google chrome; none worked.

3. Have you tried different tablets?

A. Yes, We are working with Apple Ipad, iOS 7.02 & samsung tablet.

4. Also what version of Android are you working with?

A. latest version.

I have used the default browser on Android version 4.0, so it does work...unsure how much works as it was just to see if I could type of thing.

IE10?  Is this on a Windows tablet or a desktop/laptop?

Could you provide the Android version number as current could be 4.0 through 4.3 at the moment, and 4.4 is soon to be released.

Also have you tried from a desktop/laptop to access the same sapgui session?  I'm starting to think you don't have any of the services under tx 'SICF' enabled for SAPGUI HTML.
