Hi All,
1. I am implenting ITSM in SolMan 7.1, I am archiving all the test incidents,my concern is do I get incident number from starting again or will it continue the old flow.
2. Is there a way to change the numbering of incidents, changes and problems.
My customer needs specific number notation for changes, incidents and problem. Guys please throw some light on these.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Phani.
Hi Phani,
Please check in SNUM
CRM_INCDNT -Incident (IT Service Management)
CRM_PROBLM - Problem (IT Service Management)
CRM_SERVIC - ChaRM
Goto SNUM -> enter object( e.g..CRM_INCDNT) -> Number range -> Change interval
Assign the number range depond on the requirement.

Hi,
Go to edit mode , press insert interval maintain like below
01 8000000000 8999999999 8000001009
02 7000000000 7999999999 0
03 6000000000 6999999999 0
Then goto SPRO -> Define Transaction Types ( Change control management) -> SMIN
If u want number range from ( eg ,..7000000000 7999999999 0) enter 02 in the int.range box and save it.
like you will define the range in transcation numbering.

Hi,
I believe it's using number range objects.
Please check the number range objects mentioned in note 1576472 and see if it helps.
Thanks.
Jim
