Hi All,
How to know sap application server connected to oracle?
Thnks,
MS
Hi MS,
When you are able to login to SAP, it means application server is connected to database. Without that db connection SAP won't start at all. You can also check the dev_w0 log file for entry db_connect and end result of this step.

Dear MS,
Enable SAP* user - set the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0 in default profile and restart the instance.
If a dialog work process has used up the roll area assigned to it and the extended memory, private memory is assigned to the work process. The work process goes into PRIV mode (private).
