Hi,
just bought myself a new laptop and installed in SAPGUI 7.3. All good, but all buttons on the logon pad are greyed out, so I can't create any entries. I assumed the problem must be that the .ini file is missing. Checking in the folder for Configuration Files on the SAPLogon pad, the saplogon.ini file should be stored in folder C:\Users\Jens\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common, but the file structure doesn't seem to exist.
Any ideas?
cheers
Jens
Hi Jens,
I think you are trying to add or edit systems in saplgpad.exe, please browse to the installation directory of saplogon.exe from this location C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui
See your SAPGUI at top left whether it shows SAP logon Pad 730 or SAP logon 730, please see the attached screen for difference. Please use SAP logon 730 to add systems.
regards
kartik
